Looks like a rhode island red or production red (brown egg layer), but its hard to tell from that angle.

She was wild, & loose in the city. She was roosting WAY up in the trees. The dog catcher brought her to me as a last resort. She has a tiny head, so I thought she might have some fighting blood in her?? She lays beige (not tan) eggs.

That does look like a peacomb and with the leg color so maybe a mix between an EE and some sort of production red / RIR / NHR ?
