I was given this roo by a neighbor who said it was a marans but I have since acquired another one but it has feathers on its legs. A friend of mine is saying this one here is a leghorn and I dont believe it is

There are French Black Copper Marans that have feathered legs and English Black Copper Marans that have bare legs.

I'm not sure about the breed, could be a black copper Marans, could be a mix, but it's not a Leghorn. He's a good looking fella though.

Definitely not a leghorn - perhaps a Marans or Marans X.
