What breed is this roo?

he was purchased in a group of 5 chicks that were supposed to be all hens... the store called them Ameraucana but also had "easter eggers" in parenthesis, which are 2 diff. species. i'm just wondering what he is? sorry the lighting isnt' great- his combs are bright red... thanks

Need better pics of the comb, because its washed out in the light, it almost looks like a flopped single comb.
That said, he's an EE of some sort. He doesn't match any of the breed specifics for ameraucana.
The unfortunate thing is that the stores get their birds from hatcheries who sell 'amerIcana' (not the spelling) and somehow they're allowed to sell these birds with that name. They don't match the breed standard for ameraucana (some by a long shot) and they're all easter eggers.

comb is flopped single yes - some of the hens in the box (also listed both as Ameraucana and easter eggers) produce tan/light brown eggs...

Easter eggers are mix breeds that are bred with the intention of carrying the blue egg gene. depending on how far they are genetically from their original blue egg ancestor, they will lay brown. EE can lay blue, green, olive, brown, pinkish... literally any color.
