What breed is this Rooster? Help...

Yes he does but if he already lives with the ladies in waiting, that is a game changer. Bringing in this new guy or any other sexually mature rooster/cockerel would be a big issue.
Not not in less he’s been hanging around long enough it would be like getting a new chicken they get use to the new one and can be let in.

Sounds like a bantam rooster!

Yes, I have a Mille Fleur d'Uccle Bantam rooster who I'm looking to get ride of, or possibly moving him to his own area soon. My current rooster was an accident buy about a year ago because I felt sorry for a chick that was being picked on by bigger chicks. However he is become more of a problem every day, and I've been planning to rehome or move him for a very long time.

Males do not work that way. Females do.
Males fight to defend their hens. That is what they are programmed to do. Protect their flock.
Okay I know ducks and chickens are different but I got a new drake and they get along pretty good. I think he will be okay! We use to have a bantam rooster and he would chase the my big rooster away! He always let the hens eat first and if my big rooster tried to eat the bantam would case him!

Then get rid of him now, or let the new rooster take care of it for you.

Curious where do you live that a chicken would be running loose for years?

I vote you take that rooster in. If he doesn't get along or work out the way you think he should, simply let him out to free range again. I don't see the big deal. Give the guy a try! 😄
