What breed is this rooster

Hi there,
I am new to the group and to raising chickens. We were given the neighbors chickens upon their move and one is a rooster. I’m not sure of many of the chickens breed and will figure them out I’m sure.
But, I do want to know what breed this beautiful rooster is? He seems fine around us, only once I thought he came at me a bit agresaice but for the most part he seems to mind his own business.
Anyone have an idea of his breed?

I would say Cuckoo(sp) Marans or Dominque, sorry that's best I can do as haven't personally seen either just pictures

Barred Rock rooster. Dominiques have a rose comb. Looks a little too light to be a cuckoo marans to me.

He’s a Plymouth Barred Rock. Bright yellow legs and straight comb are defining features.

His patterns look to thin and for a barred rock, they have more a more solid pattern, and california greys also have that yellow beak and legs. Straight combs are most common on roosters.

Straight combs are common on any straight comb breed. There are many chicken breeds that do not have straight combs. Comb type does not coincide with sex, unless you’re cross breeding for that. Someone above said he could be a Dominque, but that breed does not have straight combs, whilst he could just be a poorer quality Dominique, it’s unlikely.
