He's probably some type of hatchery hybrid, not a pure breed. But a handsome rooster nonetheless.

Looking at McMurray's photos, I see the red feathers, yellow legs, and single combs. Some have black in the tail and maybe a bit of patterning (the others have white in the same places), and some of the young pullets are showing some white in the earlobes.

If he lays green eggs If he later has daughters, we might be able to tell something from what color eggs they lay, especially if their mothers lay white or brown eggs.

I think he's got too much black to be a Red Leghorn, but not enough black to be a Brown Leghorn (not enough black for a Welsummer either, even without the earlobe color being off.)

I am ignoring the "red broiler" and any other meat breeds--it seems that McMurray likes to send out rare breed cockerels for their mystery chicks, not meat birds.
