It's really hard to tell from the picture but he could possibly be a speckled Sussex. Can you get a better pic? Side on without the light reflecting on him quite so much? What color are his legs? Is he a large fowl or a bantam?
I will try and get more pictures tomorrow, this is the other two pictures I have of him. He is black with some white on some of his feathers and a little brown feathering on his side wings. His legs are a very soft yellow with black speckles on them. I will also include a picture of the hen that looks exactly like him other than she is a hen. Her feet however have way more black on them. Thank you for your information.
Well, last time I said the hen's a Mottled Java. . . . Honestly I think they're mutts. Their coloring as a pair and their lack of complete mottling likely suggests they're crosses.
McMurray doesn't sell Javas, so I would guess you have poorly colored Speckled Sussex.
ETA: I just saw your other post. I would guess Ancona, except she has red earlobes, and Anconas have white earlobes... The only other mottled standard-size breed McMurray carries is Mottled Houdan, and she is NOT a Houdan, LOL.
