What breed is this rooster?

Hi guys!

I am going to enter this rooster in my county fair:

I'm not sure what breed he is. I kept calling him a Rhode Island Red, but I know that's not correct.

Does anyone know what breed this bird is?

he's pretty neat looking, looks like he has the pattern of a red sex link hen. Probably a mixed breed.

Thanks everybody for the info and compliments on the roo. I went to have him tested for Avian Influenza earlier this evening, and the young gent picked up compliments there too. Ha! Ha! Ha!

I'll probably just enter him in the fair under unknown or mixed.
