What breed is this? Thinking black copper marans, but not sure

Hi,

This is a roo that someone gave me. It was sold to them as a Black Minorca pullet, obviously before he matured. He's about 5 months old now and I love his looks, pretty boy.

he is very pretty, but not a black copper maran, wrong body type.

Maybe just a pretty mutt? One thing that struck me, he is way more mature in the comb, waddles, and tail feathering than any other roosters I have.

I guess he's a steak sauce chicken - Heinz 57. LOL But I like him, I think he'll make a fine chickenyard patrol. Thanks guys for your imput.
