He's an Easter Egger, he's got a pea comb and green legs. He didn't have all that red 2 weeks ago. He looks like a pretty typical Easter Egger cockerel, now.

Really? He looks nothing like my other 3 easter eggers and that's not even considered a rare breed according to McMurray. I'm surprised they'd send me that as a free "rare" chick. Well darn, I was hoping he'd be something somewhat special so I could give him away to a 4H'er or FFA'er for showing. McMurray's easter eggers aren't anything special, they're a mix actually and can't be shown. Thanks for your help!

I googled easter egger rooster and wow Junebuggena, you're right! You called it 2 weeks ago lol, thanks! I'm a bit upset with McMurray for sending that as a "rare" chick. I knew the free one would be 50/50 shot at a rooster and I figured no biggie, I'll give him away to a kid to show if it's a rooster. If I knew I could be getting an unshowable "breed" I would have declined the free chick. I wish I could keep him, he's going to be beautiful!
