Unfortunately I agree that it looks like a Cockerel as well.That is definitively a cockerel. Behaviour is a very poor characteristic to use in gender assessment.
As for breed, there are a few that fit single comb, clean yellow legs, gold/red based plummage....I'm leaning production red, but confirmation and overall development in the next 10+ weeks will tell the tale

Tractor Supply, they are from hoover hatchery.Absolutely a cockerel. Base color looks more like a New Hampshire Red than a Production Red to me. But a New Hamp should be showing some black in the hackle and tail by now.... Where did you get the chick? Hatchery? Breeder? Feed store?
I sure can.I agree, I think you have a little cockerel. I'm not sure of the breed though. Can you post more pictures in a few weeks?
