What breed is this ?

Hello extremely new to chickens. So I know nothing bast the breeds I already own. But someone just asked me to take there grandmother's chickens. She pasted in may and they have not been able to care for the birds. The coop was mountains of poop and the 5x10 run was too. The poor birds. Anyways I just got them home and they had no idea what breed they were except the silky roosters. I put out a dust bath for them. But alot of them have huge patches of missing feathers. What can I do for that.

I think silver sussex. I don't see feathered legs on the "Brahmas."

Depends where the feathers are missing. They could be molting (it's early, but not too early.) It could be mites. It could be the roosters. Can you describe where the feathers are missing and if there are feather shafts sticking out of the skin?

They have pea combs and if you zoom in on the legs in the first pic you can see that they are lightly feathered.

Didn’t see that. You might be right! Very similar. Now that you said that I notice the comb too and my brahmas has 0 comb compared to this one

Those definitely look like light Brahmanas. I can see some feathering on the legs. Plus if they were in that bad of conditions they could have lost some legs feathers. They may just be hatchery quality. Not good ones.

To help with the bald patches, just make sure they have enough food and a good diet. It will take some time for their feathers to grow back in.

I saw that first picture, saw that the comb was large and upright, and assumed. I still don't see the feathers, but my computer's having trouble loading pictures right now.
