What breed is this?

Her legs look blotchy so that's why I was curious.

I think it's the leg feathers. Some are white and some black. It makes the legs look kinda spotted.

The color is Splash. She has pretty substantial feather stubs on her legs. I would look her over very closely for mites or lice. I think after some good feed, a nice molt, and some sun we'll be better able to tell what her breed (or mix most likely) that she is.

Thank you. We checked her for lice and mites and all was fine. She is molting right now and was also the favorite of the rooster at her previous home so she’s pretty ratty looking right now. I’m thinking Splash maran because her eggs are very dark.
