got a new chicken after one passed away, guy wasn't sure if she was a hen or rooster cause she's not a year old yet, but I think hen. anyone know her breed or is shes actually a roo?

She's a pullet and appears to be a mixed breed.

Agreed, definitely a pullet. You can tell way before the bird is a year old whether it is male or female. She is also a cross or mixed breed.
