What breed is this

No, they are not.
Many EE are sold as Ameraucana.
EE can lay blue eggs.

Ameraucana have very specific plumage and leg color.

Excuse me for the apparent confusion.
Ameraucana do.
'Amerucauna' do not.
Any misspelling of Ameraucana is EE.
So yes. 'Amerucauna' are EE.

If you are getting any color other than blue out of what you were told was Ameraucana, then it is EE (Olive Egger is just an EE that has been bred to lay Olive or some shade of green).

Even when people spell it correctly, they are not the same. ;)

I think OneHappyRooster meant:
Ameraucana, spelled correctly, is not Easter Egger.
"Americana" and "Amerucauna" and any other mis-spelling is Easter Egger.

But maybe I misunderstood.

To address the original question: I agree with all the other folks who said the red chicken is a Red Sexlink. The father was probably a Rhode Island Red, the mother a Rhode Island White or some other white breed.

Yes, I got that.
