This Roo showed up a few days ago...can you please help me with the breed? He looks fairly young with a bit of frostbite. (yellow beak and feet).

Barred Plymouth Rock or maybe some sort of sex link. You need to keep him away from your birds until you know he's healthy but it might be too late for that. Have you put up flye5s for him?

I'm not very familiar with Barred Rocks, but isn't he much too pale to be single-barred and thus must be pure and not a sexlink?

Probably, I haven't had a barred rock rooster in years, but the barring looked messy, that's why I said sex link. He could just be hatchery stock barred rock.

Yes, hatchery type barred rock. Looks nice and healthy. I'm betting he was dumped by someone if he just showed up. Barred rocks are not just going to survive with no care outside.

Looks like he’s double barred and also has leakage, making him a barred rock mix (not a BSL, since those are single barred and would be darker)
