The http addresses you had were for the page the picture was on and not the pictures.
In order to get the right one for the pictures I went to your page, right clicked on the picture and selected "Copy image location". This will give you an address that will work. That is what I pasted between the

Please note that I have already agreed with you. Why are you trying to start something with me? This is the second or third time you've been borderline confrontational.
FMP was trying to learn what you saw- That is the topic--
he sees pure you see a cross WE wanted to know why ??
That is how we learn ???? Please remember some of our members are either new to a breed or young so we have lots of questions-
That will be a pretty Bird once he heals - Keep us posted !
You also take very nice pics wish I wasn't picture challenged
NYreds, you are advertising yourself as an APA judge of 40 years standing. To me at least, it says you are willing to help by sharing your experience.
I think what is being asked for is insight and what your experience can help with. No one is being confrontational.
Thanks.
I would also like to know what he is, please - that's the reason I posted here
I'm leaning towards Dark Brahma or Faverolle, only I'm not sure how to count toes and I've never seen a Faverolle, and he does sort of look like them too! The color on his neck is more of blonde, than a silver - I'll take some more pics tonight and see if I can get some of his feet so we can count toes
FMP - I looked at feathersite before I posted his pic here - he looks quite a bit like "Roc", I think, one of the roosters shown on the website.
I wanted more experienced folks to let me know if I was on the right track - also interested in how he stacks up according to the standard (and yup, I do realize he's not show quality)
I would go with dark brahma or dark brahma cross as well. He looks like he was in a fight and got beat up pretty bad. With some TLC his feathers will come back and the dark blotches (bruises & scabs) on his face will heal up. I believe once he heals up and feathers back out, he'll make a good looking rooster.
He is starting to look quite handsome now that he's wounds are healing up. He's a smart bird too, he knows how to drink out of his water bottle with the nipple on the end of it! And he's sweet natured too.
