I originally thought that these were vorwerk but now I am not so sure, please help.

They look to large to be Golden Lakenvelders or Vorwerks, but it's possible.

I'd guess a mix and perhaps even a brown sex link but I've been WRONG plenty of times before.

It is hard for me to tell from the pictures, but if they have white legs, then I agree with the Buff Sussex.
