What breed is this

when i show my chickens last year the cage next to me had oegb hens and the judge was pulling the wings out and letting them snap back to the body and said the feathering was a loose and not tight

ohh that maybe ment its wings wernt held up properly. Some OEGBs hold there wings to lose to where they touch the ground while others hold them up to high. Or maybe he was talking about feathering. Idk

lol. Where i show the judge dont say anything. He looks at the bird. holds it, examines it, writes on his paper and moves on lol. Maybe someone else can fill us in on more info

the chickens i showed last year got me 1st in showmanship and 5th place champion. and the rooster we are talking about i am putting him in open class and you get a lot of money for placing in open class so i dont want him to look bad

at ur show do u have to dub the OEGB roos? At the show i go to u do. Ur roo looks pretty good to me. Hopfully he does well. Im doing open show this year. They dont allow u to do showmanship. But when i showed for FFA i did showmanship. OEGBs where my favorite birds to use

I show in the fair so i dont know what rules the judges follow. And we get a differtent judge every year so the rules the follow are different. But i am still going to get him dubbed because in the book that has all the breeds of poultry is sates that all OEGB must be dubbed to be show quality.
