Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
Got these chicks from the feed store but they are from ideal poultry so I know they are purebread. Not sure on breed.

Are they standard size chicks? They look a lot like female red sex links.

Not sure, the guy @ the feed store didn't know - he was just stepping in for someone. I'm hoping they are ideal236's but we will see.
