Hello everybody!
I purchased 8 chicks from my local feed store about 6 weeks ago. What I asked for were 2 Houdans, 3 Light Brahmas, and 3 Black Australorps. I've already concluded that the Light Brahmas are, in fact, Buff Brahmas. However, now that the black ones are older they do not seem right to me. They also had Black Sex Links and Black Minorcas. I'm thinking probably the Black Sex Links.

Thanks in advance for the help!

We'll if it is a black sex link then it's a pullet as the males have the white spot on top of head.

I'd say those are your Australorps. They have the wrong color eyes and legs for BSL's. The feathers just look like immature black feathers to me.

If they are Australorps, do you think they may be roos? Their combs seem big for only 6 weeks old.

I don't see how that pullet is a Black Australorp. Her eye color is correct for a BSL, they are wrong if she was a BA (australorp a have full black eyes, sometimes due to quality they may appear to have a ring though). Also, a lot of Black Sex Links have dark colored legs. :)
