what breed is this?

All my chicks died so I just got a chicken from a friend I'm sure what breed it is, and is it a bantam or standard? It's a hen, right? Also there were so bald spots under her wings and her vent area...why? Thanks!

Looks like a Light Brown Leghorn hen. The bare spots could be due to overmating, pecking by other flock-members, or possibly mites/lice.

I agree with the above poster. It's most likely from over mating, but I would check for mites just in case.
