What breed & layer or Roo??

First off Nellie was supposed to be a *Wellsumer* hen. Nellie is NOT a Welsummer chicken at all.
And now, it’s starting to look like Nellie May be a Roo and not a Hen as those saddle feathers seem to be parting and dripping down the sides and the comb is turning red when my other chicks are all still yellow...

Anyone?

I’m getting real tired of buying sexed layers and having them be MALES or the wrong breed of Chicken than what I ordered...

I’d like to also chose a hen. But those saddle feathers threw me for a loop

someone else said a Russian orloff too. Which is super confusing since that wasn’t even a breed listed on the order form
Nellie is a super stunning bird I love the crazy spots and cheek puffs. And a/he is super nice.

Did you order them from a hatchery? They certainly got that order wrong
