All are 11 days old. All (or most) are mixes of purebreed bantams. I ordered from a woman in WI who ordered them from MMH.

Breeds in her flock: Silver Sebright, Golden Sebright, Polish bantams, Ameraucana bantmas, Rosecombs, Dutch Bantams, Sultan Bantams, 1 Showgirl, Brahma Bantams, Penciled Cochin bantams, Cornish bantams, Sumatra bantams, and BT Japanese bantams.

#1 This guy/girl has a single comb, and is pretty heavy compared to the other chicks.

#2 This is another heavy-bantam. It, too, is single-combed. He has like two feathers growing on his feet.

#3 This babe has five toes, black skin, a pea comb...I'm thinking silkie or silkie cross...? Very muffled chirp too.

#4 Very much like #2, but much smaller and legs are more feathered.

#5 This guy I call "The Bully" for he is vicious! He beats up on pretty much all the chicks, but seems to like people. He has long legs, dark brown back, single comb, and is very aggressive. His tail and wing feathers, like Chicks 2 and 4, are tipped in brown/gold, only he has no white feathers on his underside.

#6 My favorite! He was first-born and he's also the tiniest of the bunch. His legs are heavily feathered, and he normally stands rather tall. I was thinking Sebright Cross, but his back and wings are more penciled than laced.

#7 Her mom is definitely a Showgirl. No idea what the dad might be...she is very closely patterened to the next two chicks though...And she has a rosecomb and feathered feet.
She is very sweet.

#8 Chipmunked patterned. Rose combed. Clean-legged.

#9 Closely patterened after #7 and #8, lighter and single-combed. Clean legged.

#10 Puffy cheeks! Ameraucana maybe? Beautiful striped wings, though VERY light.

Beautiful chicks, but I am as stumped as you! With my assorted bantams, it was much easier to tell on some of them once they hit about 6 weeks.

Some of them I am still guessing on!

Thanks. I was thinking the same thing about #4.
# 2 must be the same...the only difference between the birds is that #2 is larger and has fewer leg feathers.

Thanks. Well, I had to give all of the birds away because this was a class experiment. However, I was able to see the birds a couple of months ago. They are all HUGE! Definitely larger than bantam-size.

#7 was a Show girl mix...Feathering is more Turken than Showgirl. Unfortunately his new family thinks hes disgusting-looking.

ALL birds turned out to be BOYS except for #6. Can you believe that. What are the ODDS!

Easier if you were talking purbred chicks. Does the breeder keep her birds separated by breed?

They are all most likely mutts, but I can tell you, 8 & 9 are the most likely to be Dutch mixes.
