The little cochin is not feathering out very well.

#4 looks like a Japanese bantam cockerel

#8 does not look like a cochin to me. It looks very slim. But then you say its feathering slow so perhaps it is cochin after all.

One of #9 and 10 looks to have the thick ankles of a bantam cornish.

I wish!

I wanted Japanese bantams but his/her tail isn't up all the time. #4 and #5 look a lot alike so what every they are, I got 2 of them. hopefully a breeding pair.

The cochin might be a brahma? it has feathers on it's feet.

On 9 or 10. You're right, one of them has thicker yellower legs.

I'm new to having bantams, and there are so many obvious variations that I never even noticed.

It could also be a d'Uccle.

Everything about that chick looks Japanese to me, not just the tail.

The hatchery d'Uccles often include booted bantams since they (Ideal especially, ime) really don't care about SOP.
