Definitely a Blue-Laced Red Wyandotte.

I hope she's not a roo...I have five already in a flock of 21! Going to have to get rid of 2 or 3 when they grow older; I had gotten 5 with the expectation that I might lose a couple of birds here and there to different things, but so far every one of them has survived in excellent condition. I'm still debating whether to give them away/sell them or keep them for dinner...

Not sure why her tail isn't showing in these pictures; it seems much bigger in person.

The only way I had an idea it might be a Wyandotte is I have a friend that has one that is older than yours and they sent me a picture and what a beautiful bird!!! Wait till yours gets older, this bird is stunning with those feathers and my friends pullet looks a lot like yours too, just older! Here's to hoping it's a she

Lucille perched atop Logan, the stalker/guard-cat. Shortly after this photo op, she tried to nip Lucille in the beak, then pounce on a pullet...the flock responded by chasing her across the yard.
