I would like to know what type of chicken this hen is?

Silver Spangled Appenzeller. If purebred, anyway.

That is what I was thinking but those look pretty whitish and she is more yellowish? Is it likely that she’s not pure?

Or simply production/ hatchery quality meaning selective breeding not carefully applied

Definitely an appenzeller. One of the hatcheries has advertised a 'gold spangled' appenzeller, maybe that's it.

That is a Cream Brabanter. Not a Spitzhauben. The beard is the dead give away.
