My husband thought he took note of which breeds he got but this one chicken doesn’t look like any of the others or the breeds he thought he picked. She’s 5 months old. Welcome ideas! Thank you!!

So would they have sold her as an Americauna then? I find they all look so different in color as they matured! But had sort of snake pattern when they were younger. And we definitely have some gray green eggs. Thanks!
Yes, hatcheries often sell Easter eggers as Ameraucanas. They usually spell it Americaunas, which is very confusing. But true Ameraucanas only come in specific color varieties, and yours isn't one of them. She's beautiful, though. Love her colors.

Good to know! Looks like as newbies we were easily duped into buying hybrids and not purebreds. Oh well. They are unique!
