What breed of chicken is this?

Hi everyone, this little girl was found at my school. I took her home and she’s quarantined for now from my other chicks. I was told it’s a chicken but I cannot seem to figure out what kind of chicken it is. She can fly really high! Every time I check on her in the coop, she’s perched up on a skinny ledge way up high. She definitely does not act like my other chickens…. Any ideas???

Not that I am aware of. I’ve taught at this school for 3 years and we’ve never had wild chickens.

It could potentially be a Jersey Giant, but I would guess it's a mixed breed given how it was found. Body type will become more obvious later

When I look that breed up it says that they don’t fly much because of their size but this chicken most definitely flies and flies high

In my experience, chicks tend to climb and fly more in general.
