What breed of chicken is this?

I was wondering what the chicken was on the home page, where the chicken breeds "which breed is your favorite" thing pops up. I love the way that one looks, is that a color that a few breeds come in or is it just in a particular breed? I love how they have the feathers like outlined in black like that. I found a picture that looks similar, but the feathers look like layered, like edged in black then white then black and so on.

The picture you posted is a gold laced wyandotte and yes several breeds come in gold or silver laced.

I had them before. They are a good laying breed, big brown eggs almost everyday, and I think have the prettiest color patterns of all breeds of dual purpose chickens Hope you get some soon!

Me too! I need to try and find out the local laws here. I found Sacramento but in the law it said "city of sacramento" I think we're a different city but still sac county. Plus it was all pretty confusing anyways. Haha.
