what breed of chicken is this?

    i have two chickens that look like crows,dont know what kind this is i looked in different breeds and still cannot tell what this is,and no its not a crow or blackbird,i took a pic of them they are always on the move,so what do i have here?[​IMG]

    Do they have top knots ,crest on head? They may be a silky cross

    cross with what? i dont know maybe with a crow,lol

    My Sumatra and my cemani have that green sheen,my tomaru do too

    Maybe they are Silkie mixed with Austrolorp or some other black breed, or maybe the Silkie parent had black feathers. Mixed breeds can be pretty tricky to figure out. I think I read that the Silkie feather texture is not passed to the first mix generation. But the crest and the black skin can be passed to the first mix generation.

    Yes silky cross usually have regular feathers,count the toes and look at skin under the wing

    Yep, 5 toes would confirm silkie cross, but I don't know if all Silkie crosses have 5 toes.

    no 5 toes here,but i believe the look more like the sumatra

    Ok not silky,Sumatra then,do both have the crest on head,may have some polish blood then
