What breed of chicken lays speckled green eggs?

My SO is trying to figure out what kind of chickens an old friend of his had. All he remembers is they laid speckled green egg about bantam sized. Thanks in advance.

No it's been years since he's talked to his friend and he never saw the chickens in person so he has no idea what they looked like just that they payed green speckled eggs always. It wasn't like a once in a while or different colors he said they were always. He thinks they were crested maybe.

Does he remember what colors the feathers were?

No he doesn't. He said that he thinks the guy got them from Tractor Supply like 10 years ago

He's been asking me for over a year to try and find these and I'm at a loss
