Look like NHs to me. Just my opinion though

My reds are darker red and have some dark green feather in the tail.

Currently I have :

• 3 old Dutch (small bantam) hens
• 1 naine de Tournaisis and 1 Dutch x Tournaisis (bantam hens)
• 3 young bantam RIR. 2 hens (point of lay) and 1 rooster.

2 Reds (NH, RIR, Buckeye...not sure which!)

Based on your pictures, not Buckeye.
Yours have single combs, which is right for New Hampshire or Rhode Island Red.
Buckeyes would have pea combs.

I did a search and your post popped up. Where did you get Black Javas from??? I've been searching but no luck.

We got them from Sand Hill Preservation Center.

Our breeds vary depending on what research we are doing, but the current breeds we have are:

• Black Jersey Giant
• Delaware
• Barred Plymouth Rock
• White Crested Polish
• Dark Brahma Bantam
• Serama

We also have pullets from a Black Jersey Giant x Delaware cross.

I’m interested to know more about your BJG/Delaware X. I’ve only done one hatch, and it wasn’t successful. I will definitely educate myself more before trying again. What is your goal with those particular breeds? I hope that doesn’t sound rude. I’m genuinely curious .
