I have a black silkie hen that I JUST checked and she also has extra toes so yeah, I should have known. Sorry! I checked my silkie rooster and he doesn't have extra toes so he might not be a Silkie after all...that is a trait of silkies. most silkies have an extra toe, and feathers on their feet.
