We just got back from a walk and he rolled in the mud, the dirt didn't hide so well, lol.
I think border collie for sure, I've seen him with other border collies and they looked so alike.

He looks like a Borador, a new designer dog. It is a cross between a Border Collie and a Labrador Retriever. They are becoming more popular, and it's not hard to find them. He's pretty!

To be quite honest, he looks more like a LabradorXAlaskan Malamute.

He isn't nearly big enough to be that mix.
He has gotten into a horse pen and herded all the horses up, so I think he has some herding instincts, lol.

To me he looks like an Akita crossed with a Border Collie. That big skull is definitely not a Collie thing and the color leans towards Akita, while the sleek coat and size point more towards Collie.
