What breed of hen?

I bought this hen a couple of weeks ago thinking she was an Orpington but now I'm wondering if she's a Star or something else. Can someone that has more chicken experience than me chime in here?

That looks alot like a Buff Orpington I think.

So you were probably right. Mine lay an egg every day and are beautiful hens!!

Hatchery grade buff orpington, most likely. Her coloring's not spot-on for a "good" Orp, but that's to be expected as much from hatchery stock as some possibly impure blood back a ways.

The lighter colored feathers kind of threw me off, she's still pretty young I think since she hasn't started laying yet and her comb has grown some.
