What breed of rabbit is this?

Well its certainly not a rex. It doesn't have the right coat to be one. That rabbit could be cross bred with anything.

At least not a pure rex. It's definitely a mix, but rabbit mixes, even with parents who have wool hair or "rex" hair can have any length of hair. I found this out when I was thinking about breeding rex to jersey woolie. I hadn't known that the rex hair was a result of short or absent guard hairs.

Yep, the gene for rex and the gene for angora are distinct and separate, and occur in different places in the rabbit genome. They are also both recessive traits, so the F1 generation of an angora/rex cross would have normal fur. Now, what a rabbit that was H/z for both rex and angora would look like, that I'm not sure about, but I'm guessing rex.
