What breed of Roo makes the best protector.

If I was to just want eggs and wasn't partial to what kind of rooster I had and wanted one to help protect the flock what would be the general opinion as to the best breed for that job? This is just a suppose type question.

The most fierce flock protector I've ever had is my barred rock.

I think its more of an individual thing than a breed trait though.

Close second is my Rhode Island Red.

My rhode island red is a really good protector. He attackes everybody and anything but me so I like him. He's huge too so that helps. Just be careful though. Mine gets fiesty some times so you'll have to show him who's boss. I just pick mine up and carry him like a baby. He leaves me alone after that.
