What Breed Of Turkey Am I Raising?

Quote:
It is interesting. Most likely the Narragansett gene would be there with any palm cross. I think the lack of BWB is causing the color to not be like a palm would look.

Any other thoughts?

I wonder if they have more than one palm gene???

If I remember mu genetics correctly, a bronze with two palm genes is an Oregon Gray. I have not seen Oregon Grays develop, but I wouldn't rule it out from what I see in the pictures, They are definitely changing color as they replace feathers. Can't wait to see what they turn into

I should have made that more clear. I should not have used the word gene as the cg. More like b+b?cgcgngng.

No that is nothing like a Oregon Gray. They show no bronze color. Just a black, gray & white. The body is feathers are outlined in white. Not like the white in the middle of the feather as here.
