what breed of turkeys lay the most eggs

Most well bred, well feed, young heritage birds will lay 90-120 eggs a year. Midget Whites lay 60 to 80 eggs a year but it use to be much worse at only 30 to 40 eggs a breeding season. You can and should select for hens that lay good and lay most of the eggs early in the year. These are the hens that feather first and mature the fastest. That way your poults will be the right size for holiday market.
