What breed or gender are these?

A sex link is a cross for egg laying and be able to be sexed at hatch. For a black sex link, females will be black with brown leakage and males will hatch with a white dot on their head and feather in barred.

Thanks for the info. I don't know who's a banty or not at this point. I just ordered a brown egg assort and I'm starting to think they sent me a rainbow. The girls are beautiful. I can't wait to see the eggs. We still have at least two months if they even lay in November and don't wait till spring.

The black one looks like my australorp girl. Mine has a dark comb though.

The first one could be an Australorp. I thought black sex link because it looks like there is variation in color on the chest. But if she stays solid black with white on the bottoms of her feet, then she is an Australorp. If she gets brown leakage in her chest area, then she's a black sex link. If she stays solid black but has yellow on the bottom of her feet, then she's a jersey giant. (which I don't think she is)
