What breed or gender is this chick

This little cutie hatched on the 12th and I’m new so I’m wondering if you guys can help me out.

Much to young to sex and determine breed just now. Post new pics in 6 weeks or so. Its it a hatchery chick?

yes, it’s a hatching chicken. The only one that survived out of 12 eggs due to a power outage that killed all the other embryos. I will post again in 6 weeks thank you

So cute! Based on the pictures it looks like you're heard of sexing by feathers. Unfortunately that only works with chicks that are a day or two old. At this point you're in that middling period where you'll have to wait until the comb and other secondary sex characteristics start developing. Respond to this thread so we can follow along with pictures!

Nugget is what we have named it. And this cuties has gotten so big and so much cuter in less than a week.
