What breed or mix could this be?

I was told she is a maran mix, but she lays very light colored eggs, so I am confused...

any ideas?

Well, some Marans don't have very good egg color to begin with..... So it's completely possible that it could be part Marans... it takes careful breeding to keep nice dark egg color in your lines. But... it doesn't look at all Marans-ish to me.... maybe OEG or Phoenix mix???
