I bought these chicks as assorted, straight run chicks. So I already know it is a roll of the dice as for roos and pullets, that is not my question. What breed are they? I have had the a week already so they are starting to feather out. Also what are the different ways to sex a chick and how would I go about marking them? The white one is a Leghorn pullet. 20180310_165544.jpg

Looks like my black sex link chicks really and while only guesding, we sex chicks and ate correct most of the time by the wings. Females grow in faster and are longer. If i had to guess, the one in front is a male

    They're either australorps or marans.

Most likely Australorps. And looks to be several boys.

Those are "off" for BA, but based on my limited experience, that is what I'd guess. BA have black feet with the soles being pink.

They aren't Marans, this breed is known for their feathered legs.
    I'm guessing Australorps, too. :)
