I bought them from TSC. they should be 3_4 months old. I got them 2 months ago but they were not babies. Bought unsexed. From a total of 6 chickens, 4 are roos.. All but the cochin to be rehomed. They were all priced half off. Like I said, I didn't know they were "little chicken". They gotta go.The little guy appears to be a Buff Sebright. The black one looks like a Minorca. The barred things look like Barred Rocks, though the lighter one is a bit too light (could be bad genetics, though still a good bird). The white one is a Cochin. Where did you get them and how old are they?
Ok. If they're closer to four months, I'd actually question if the black one is a pullet.I bought them from TSC. they should be 3_4 months old. I got them 2 months ago but they were not babies. Which one is Popcorn? I didn't really see any meatbirds in there...Do I have to worry about popcorn getting too big and die since he was sold as meatbird?
No, meat birds don't have feathered feet. Popcorn is a cochin.Do I have to worry about popcorn getting too big and die since he was sold as meatbird?
That's an interesting mix to be bought at TSC. Do you know if yours supplies from a local hatchery? I concur with Lacy.I bought them from TSC. they should be 3_4 months old.
