Hello!

edit to add photo of chick:

I recently have gotten four chicks from our local TCS, and while two of them I bought as pullets (golden laced wyandotte), two I bought as straight runs. I’ve tried researching for hours but I can’t seem to get a type of chicken these beautiful babies are. They were both yellow when I got them, and the started growing these colored feathers. ❤️

And I was hoping maybe you can tell the gender of them as well?

Thank you so much!

Its always best to do it 1-5 days after hatching. If you do it after that then their bigger feathers will come in and it won't work.

I'm getting 25 Silkies in a couple of weeks. PM me your method, I'd love to try it out. I've been working on figuring out an earlier and more reliable way of sexing Silkies than the standard way of staring at them intently until they're nine weeks old and sorta guessing based on certain physical characteristics.
