That adorable pouty face looks like my chocolate lab...so cute! And I see what looks like bloodhound also. Very cute doggie. And that puppy pic looks beagle LOL

My first look made me think ridge mix too, but I'm not so sure, especially since the ridge of fur seems to come through on a lot of crosses. The white on the chest wouldn't be out of line for a Rhodesian at all. I could definitely see the hound. I don't see the beagle.

You can actually get DNA tests for 30 something on ebay if curious. I received one as a Christmas present (haha, for our dog...not me!).

She of course does look like a Red Bone mix, interesting that you mentioned Boxer and Beagle. I would rule out a Beagle because of her size, a Beagle close up in her genetics, I would think, would at least cause some smaller size. She's got light bone for a Coon Hound x Beagle too, I'd expect she would have some heavier bone on her as beagles are usually quite thick. I only might see some boxer in her depth of chest....but not in her face, though could contribute to her smaller ear size. I think a good level side view of her body and head would be most helpful. In any event she's super houndy...so a hound mix she is LOL. These are always fun posts for me! Thanks

Thank you all for your input. I edited the first post with more pictures. She also uses her front paws a lot. Isn't this a boxer trait?

I don't think there's bloodhound there----looks a lot like a redbone I had. I def. see beagle and from the side you can see how her muzzle looks like a GSD----also see that in her eyes. Don't know where the curly tail came from. Yes, boxers do use their front paws a LOT. Maybe whoever you got her from knew what they were talking about.

I was looking at the texture of her coat....thinking..thinking..and realized that she doesn't have the really typical coat of hounds. She's got short hair but there's definately an undercoat there, the variety of hounds we are talking about here hardly have an undercoat at all. Bloodhounds do tend to have a more all weather undercoat but I really don't see bloodhound there. So her coat throws me off, I've been thinking of several other breeds that might contribute to her unusual good looks. But I'll stop here as my mind has me thinking all kinds of exotic breeds and I know that it's silly LOL
