I'd get a few ee's and a "hatchery choice' assortment. Ideal has lots of them. You can choose egglayers, meatbirds, colored egglayers, bantams, st runs, pullets, whatever.

Then have fun over the next few months figuring out what you got. And next time you want to order you can get more birds of whatever turns out to be your favorite. I kinda wish I did that, but I am really digging my 5 ee's too.
