Now I'm wondering if I should wait until next year... I don't want to open a box of dead duckies. It's 13 days now!!!

I'm hoping that since you and I are both in CA, we'll get them the next day.Bummer. I just ordered some more ducks from them. They said shipping has been arriving on time for the majority of their shipments.
Is there not a feed store around you that you could have put in an order thru? Now I'm wondering if I should wait until next year... I don't want to open a box of dead duckies.

Only if I want 10 or more....Is there not a feed store around you that you could have put in an order thru?
No. My packing peanut is a Saxony. So are you getting a pekin as a “packing peanut”?
Brrr! 40 is good. It's in the teens now, but even that's downright balmy compared to -2!!!They layer the boxes with liners and hay and stuff so I wouldn’t be worried. It’s -2 in Minnesota so 40degrees sounds soo nice
Don't be silly! - Duckies are resilient and rarely arrive dead or injured. And you're both in California, so the package should reach you the next day.Now I'm wondering if I should wait until next year... I don't want to open a box of dead duckies.
