What breed should i get?

I had two show silkies a white pullet and a cuckoo cockrel. My cockrel died recently and i am heartbroken to see him go, and so is my pullet. I want to get another bird for her so shes not alone. I considered getting another silkie but im not sure i like the odd ornamental breeds, so what other breed should i get? I have a set up for silkies so nothing to big, any ideas??? and the more bizzarre the better!
